 Baby, I heard your heartbeat for the first time on an ultrasound on 26 July 2023! What a wonderful time it is for us! You're growing in my womb and the size of a sweet pea. We can't wait to see you soon. Papa was so excited he whipped out his phone to record a video of your tiny heartbeat. Dressed so handsomely in his work clothes, he wanted to accompany Mommy on her visit to the obstetrician at Lam Wah Ee Hospital so he could see you for the first time before making his way to his office. And it was a joy to see your little heart flickering like a star in the night sky. Oh, baby, you are the cutest thing!  Your Grandma in Singapore has promised to visit Penang with Grandpa when you arrive in March next year. On July 12, 2023, I made a fateful visit to a gynaecologist and obstetrician. I had missed my period and was experiencing cramps and mood swings. My doctor looked into my womb using a transvaginal ultrasound. The walls of my uterus seemed to have thickened considerably. Surprised, she collected my urine. Two strips emerged on the test kit, and my world shifted! This blog documents the journey of my pregnancy. How things will pan out, I do not know. I'm excited but also nervous. I'm growing a baby!
